Deputy Democratic Services Manager - Central London - Local Authority

£31 - £41+ per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

Hybrid working available - 2/3 days a week in the office

3 months initial contract - likely to be extended

Job Responsibilities:

* To assist in leading and managing a team of staff who support the Council's decision making processes, including scrutiny and member development, having regard to legislative requirements and frameworks.

* To ensure the Council's decision making processes and governance are completed in accordance with all statutory requirements;

* To deputise for the Democratic Services Manager on all aspects of managing the service as required, and specifically to provide cover for leave;

You must have:

* Experience of using (modern.gov) committee management system

* Experience of working directly within a local authority
