Warehouse and distribution team leader

My client a fast paced e-commerce warehouse and distributer currently have a requirement for an experienced Team Leader to take responsibility for managing a small and successful team.

This is by no means a purely management role though, the ideal candidate will also be involved in the day to day activities of the team, including but not limited to, picking, packing, goods in, quality control and returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and lead a team across all warehouse and fulfilment functions

• Maintain and promote high standards

• liaise with external clients and internal managers

• Manage and monitor time/attendance, performance and the well being of the team

Key Skills/Experience

• Previous leadership experience from either an eCommerce, retail, or multi-channel environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Previous experience dealing with clients either in eCommerce, retail, hospitality or similar customer service role

• Able to organise and adapt plans quickly in a fast changing environment

• Analytical with the ability to interpret data
