GPW are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our client in Adlington who are a specialist in design, installation, and bulk material handling systems across a range of sectors, with a strong reputation in tunnelling and aggregates.

Key Responsibilities:

* Attend internal handovers and review project scope, contract, and technical specifications.

* Ensure engineering output meets project specifications and complies with statutory regulations.

* Develop and maintain the Project Master Specification and engineering documentation.

* Coordinate tasks and deliverables in line with project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS).

* Host regular design and project reviews to monitor progress and identify risks or gaps.

* Support with subcontractor scopes, procurement, and management of third-party design.

* Capture and manage project changes and technical queries through formal processes.

* Oversee completion of the Technical File and O&M Manuals.

* Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and professional delivery.

* Promote a right-first-time approach, cost efficiency, and adherence to ISO 9001 quality processes.

What We're Looking For:

* HNC in relevant field (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).

* Experience in an engineering delivery environment.

* Strong understanding of industry standards, construction, and process industries.

* Familiarity with control systems and engineering documentation.

* Proven ability to manage engineering tasks to schedule and specification.
