Finance Manager – Alternator Repair, Rewind & Servicing:

My client is a leading business in the maintenance, repair, service and overhaul of Alternators. They are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to oversee UK financial operations and lead the financial planning.

Key Responsibilities - Alternator Repair, Rewind & Servicing:

• Lead all financial accounting, reporting and compliance activities (monthly/annual accounts, audits, VAT, HMRC).

• Manage cash flow, assets, insurance, payroll and financial controls.

• Oversee credit control, purchase ledger and ensure timely collections and payments.

• Provide budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis to support business decisions.

• Support strategic growth and international expansion with financial modelling, investment cases and due diligence.

CANDIDATE - Finance Manager – Alternator Repair, Rewind & Servicing :

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role, ideally in an engineering/manufacturing or industrial services type business, rather than an accountancy practice.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a financial position that demonstrates financial and cost analysis skills required to produce company and management accounts.
• Experience in industrial management control, with a focus on profitability analysis.
• Familiarity with production orders, Bills of Material, man and machine hours per batch (routings), variance analysis.
• Commutable to an East Midlands office.
