Hours - Alternating shift pattern i.e. 1 week (5 days) 6am - 3pm,

1 week (4 nights) 6pm - 6am. (this can be discussed)

Having taken over an established corrugated packaging business this company relocated to a 70,000 square feet site and invested in the latest state of the art technology and an experienced team to achieve a managed expansion plan, whilst diversifying into the manufacture of high quality printed carton board, corrugated and white lined folding boxboard packaging for their targeted customer portfolio.

To further broaden its offering, the company has achieved an AA rating with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and now supplies into a broad range of customers across the UK.

Overview of role:

The ideal candidate will be a fully trained and capable machine operator with previous experience of operating Cut and Crease Machinery.

The Role:

Set up and running of die cutting machine (Bobst) in line within company targets.
Achieve daily production plan.
Comply with company processes and procedures.
Achieve daily, monthly and annual targets for the team, KPI's and OEE.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
Passing of own work.
Work with a flexible approach and when required assist with other processes in the factory
Comply will all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Must have previous experience of die cutter
Preferably have experience of running a Bobst
Previous experience as a Die Cutter is essential.
Preferably have experience of Iberica, Sanwa or Bobst machines (or similar)
Possess a knowledge of safety, quality and continuous improvement techniques.
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the machine.
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good organisational and self-motivational skills
