Home Teaching/Educational Assistant/Mentor and Activity Organiser 45-65K

We are looking for an experienced, energetic Home Tutor/Teaching Assistant/Mentor to work for Private VIP family, overseeing the educational needs and welfare of 2 children, aged 13 and 17 years old. All candidates will be required to travel to France during the summer period subject to UK Government advice. This is a daily position but a separate flat can be provided for the right candidate. This role would ideally suit someone with English as a first language and must have a minimum of 2+ years teaching/tutoring experience.

Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm until 8th July
Mon – Fri 10am - 6pm after 8th July
Mon-Fri 2pm - 7.30pm from Sept, plus 3 hrs occasionally on Saturdays

Tutor/Teacher will be required to overseeing the following:


• Occasionally accompanying the children to school and activities

• Undertaking appropriate outdoor activities, educational and creative

• Scheduling and coordinating the children’s activities

• Implementing daily routines with the parents as a team

• Assisting with homework and organisation

• Ensuring the children follow a routine that allows for homework and educational activities

• Maintaining manners, etiquette and right code of conduct

• Foster and assist in the children’s educational, social and creative development

• Understand the school syllabus and requirements

• Prepare the children for exams/school assessments

• Helping develop the children’s independence

• Monitor homework given by the school and other professionals

• Organising tutors for children where needed

• Supporting the educational needs of the children in line with the school syllabus

• Assisting in improving the general understanding of the children across a range of topics at
GCSE and at A'level Maths, Economics and French.

• Help prepare the children for exams and school assessments by liaising with the other tutors

• Scheduling and accompanying the children to medical appointments if needed

• Liaising with the chef in order for him to prepare healthy meals and snacks

• Diary Management/ liaising with schools

• Scheduling and managing home maintenance and repair work

• Liaising with office and household staff
