Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Shift: Monday - Friday: Rotating two-shift pattern (early/late) & Seasonal shift change during busy period

Key Multi-Skilled Engineer Requirements Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules

* Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out effective repairs

* Perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance across production equipment

* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

* Support production teams to ensure minimal downtime and disruption

* Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

* Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery

* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Multi-Skilled Engineer Requirements:

Essential:

* Level 3 (or above) qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering

* Strong multi-skilled engineering capability (mechanical & electrical)

* Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (FMCG/food is ideal but not strictly required)

* Proven experience with fault finding and root cause analysis

* Experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

* Understanding of maintenance systems and engineering documentation

Desirable:

* Experience working with automated machinery, conveyors, or packaging equipment

* Basic knowledge of PLC systems and fault finding

* Additional engineering or equipment-specific certifications
