Join our client, a leader in sustainable waste reduction, on their mission to recycle mattresses and reduce landfill.

What You'll Be Doing

* Cutting down and dismantling mattresses for recycling

* Carrying out manual handling in a physically demanding role

* Working towards individual and team targets

* Helping keep the workspace safe and organised (note: the environment can be dusty/messy)

* Playing your part in sustainability by reducing waste going to landfill

Hours, Breaks & Incentives

* Shift: 7:00am - 4:30pm

* Breaks: ½ hour unpaid, 15 mins paid + 2 short breaks

* Targets: Cut down 72 mattresses per shift

* Incentives:

* Leave early (with full pay) once target is achieved

* Extra pay for exceeding targets

* Performance bonus available

* Opportunities to transfer to permanent contracts

What We're Looking For

* Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting throughout the shift

* Hardworking, reliable, and a strong team player

* Previous experience in recycling/waste management is useful, but not essential

* Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
