Your Role:

As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Setting up and commissioning conveyors, heat exchange systems and processing equipment, gas/diesel-fired burners using precision tools

* Troubleshooting and fault-finding under pressure to minimise downtime

* Conducting electrical diagnostics, valve checks, and I/O assessments

* Training operators and plant engineers on system controls

* Assisting with emergency breakdowns, sometimes on short notice

* Creating comprehensive site reports and providing strategic recommendations

Who We're Looking For:

* Qualified Electrical Engineer or 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance (18th Edition accreditation preferred)

* Strong PLC knowledge and problem-solving skills

* Experience in the food industry —a plus!

* Ability to develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments

* Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred but not required)

* Understanding of CE and Health & Safety regulations

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Flexibility for extensive travel across EMEA - c. 70% of the time.

* Additional languages? Big advantage!

Location:

This role is based anywhere in the UK with frequent travel. Proximity to a major airport would be beneficial.
