Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Lowton, Wigan

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

Job Type: Full time, Temporary Contract

Are you a dedicated individual with excellent behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting students in their educational journey at a secondary school level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently working with an OFSTED rated 'Good' Secondary School who are recruiting for a full time Cover Supervisor to join their ranks until the end of the year and into the new academic year!

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and manage secondary school students during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

· Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline at the secondary school level. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where secondary school students can thrive academically.

· Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups within a secondary school setting as required.

· Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the secondary school day.

· Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Requirements:

· Availability from 8:30 to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

· Strong behaviour management skills are essential, particularly in a secondary school context.

· Flexibility to cover a range of secondary school subjects and year groups.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment.

· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is a plus.

· An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one.
