Salary: up to £18.95 per hour + OT & benefits

Monday - Friday days

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HGV/LCV Technician to join our client's workshop in Coleshill. Our client specialises in fleet vehicles including HGV's and LCVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a shift of Mechanics whilst supporting diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various commercial vehicles.

This is a perfect step up for someone looking for an opportunity to move into a management role with “off the tools” duties.

Senior HGV/LCV Technician Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair a variety of complex and routine service requirements

* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues

* Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used

* Maintain a clean and organized work area

* Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

* Delegating work appropriately for team of Technicians

* Deputising for Manager when needed

Senior HGV/LCV Technician Requirements

* Relevant commercial vehicle repair/maintenance qualification

* Strong problem-solving skills with a good understanding of vehicle maintenance

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* IT proficiency

* Valid HGV Class 1 licence

* Full UK Driving Licence
