Safeguarding is at the core of everything we do, and we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Safeguarding Administrator to join our dedicated team.

The Role:As our Safeguarding Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to our safeguarding team, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating referrals, and supporting staff, students, and families with safeguarding matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update safeguarding records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist in the coordination of safeguarding meetings, referrals, and multi-agency communication.

  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with administrative tasks and reporting.

  • Monitor and track safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with school policies and statutory requirements.

  • Act as a first point of contact for internal staff queries regarding safeguarding procedures.

  • Ensure that safeguarding documentation, policies, and training records are up to date.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures within a school setting (training can be provided).

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.

  • Team player with a proactive and supportive attitude.
