Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced Teaching assistant looking for a new challenge in a Knowsley Primary School ?
CER Education are currently recruiting for a TEACHING ASSISTANT role to start in May 2024.
The role is working at a Primary School in Huyton , supporting in Key Stage 2 ( Year 3 - 6 ) and will be FULL TIME
This role will be until July 2024 ( confirmed ) and with a view to starting the academic year in September 2024.
Job Responsibilities;
- Support class teachers in managing class behaviour and lesson delivery
- Setting up and running Key Stage 2 related activities
- To understand the classroom roles and responsibilities and promote school ethos
- Prepare the classroom ready for lessons
- Ensure safeguarding regulations are consistently adhered to
Preferred Skills;
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification ( Level 2/3 ) and have classroom based experience
- Resilience and a great work ethic
- Feel comfortable receiving direction from the classroom teacher
- Working with small groups and 1:1 - SEND experience
- Assist students during class and ensure they are on task
