Client Support Desk Assistant

Do you have solid and demonstrable experience in supporting IT clients? Enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service?

We are looking for a Client Support Desk Assistant to join a Stafford-based cloud computing consultancy, specialised in providing integrated software solutions to e-commerce and manufacturing businesses.

Due to an increase in work volumes and new clients, our client is looking for a Client Support Desk Assistant to join their client support team.

As Client Support Desk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for client IT tickets, live chats and phone calls. You will be responsible for triaging tickets and queries with a view to delegating to teams / managers as well as communicating with clients to provide timely and accurate updates. Further responsibilities are listed below.

Ideally you will have at least two years' experience working in a frontline IT support role and if possible, know your way around Xero, Shopify or Unleashed. In addition, you will have a keen eye for detail and be a team player.

Salary for this position is between £18,000 - £22,000 (depending on experience).

Immediate start date available.

Further responsibilities:

Resolution of tickets and queries
Capturing resolution instructions to build knowledge base for internal and external use
Creating FAQ and training materials (short videos) for client
Supporting projects and implementations teams with ongoing tasks
Progressing tickets from start to finish and escalating tickets
Engaging in mini-support projects when required
