Applications Support Analyst - up to £35k - Leeds
Harvey Nash are working with a global automation company who require a Applications Support Analyst (Support Analyst, App Support, Application Support, App Support Analyst) with experience working on SQL based apps, to help support the business end of their users.
Based in Leeds, you would be expected to report to the Support Manager, being held responsible for providing application support by technically leading issues with the ability to guide and teach the less experienced team members. Performing application changes/upgrades/releases, following CAB processes and attending sessions as required, whilst managing time and delivery with minimum supervision, escalating any issues.
- 3-4 years' commercial SQL experience
- Experienced in Application Support
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and part of a team
- Familiar with an ITIL working environment
The role would eventually expect the candidate to identify and correct code issues written in .NET using C#. This would be closely supported by the Development team who would provide sufficient training. The ideal role for an aspiring Developer who may not have a background in developing yet wishes to pursuit such a career. There is also the chance to earn an extra £300 per week for being on call during weekends.
