Job Title: Assembly Technician - LED Lighting

* Salary: £13.21 per hr / £27,500 per annum

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join a growing LED lighting manufacturer in Rochester.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in lighting assembly or electrical component wiring who is looking to join an innovative and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assemble and wire various LED lighting products including linear lights, downlights, and custom fittings using technical drawings and work instructions.

* Perform functional and safety testing on finished products.

* Support refurbishment and LED conversion of existing luminaires to meet certification standards.

* Operate workshop machinery such as cutting saws, pillar drills, and injection moulding equipment (training provided).

* Conduct quality checks on components and flag issues.

​Requirements:

* Prior experience in lighting assembly or electrical wiring preferred.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.

* Comfortable using tools and handling electrical components.
