Our client is a long-standing family owned growing business. They now need a multi skilled Engineer to join a skilled and well established team.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Core hours: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm

Main Requirements:

• Engineering qualification, HNC, ONC or equivalent
• Practical electrical and mechanical experience
• Ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical control and instrumentation faults
• 60/40 electrical biased
• Experience of working in a safe working environment. Permit to work or IOSH

Skills:

• Pumps (vacuum, diaphragm, centrifugal, other technologies)
• Motors and inverters
• Steam and condensate systems
• Pipework water, steam, air, pressured, chemical
• Compressed air and pneumatics
• Demineralization and reverse osmosis
• Ph. control, batch controllers, load cells
• Pressure systems and appreciation of the pressure systems regulations
• Food grade areas and appreciation of HACCP systems
• Computer literate Outlook, Excel, Word etc
