Eyden Locksmiths provides a full lock and security service to both homes and businesses to numerous clients in and around the Coventry area.
Established in 1998, we already have an enormous existing local customer base, coupled with substantial advertising within 50 miles of Coventry, generating numerous customer enquiries.
Due to our ongoing expansion we now have vacancies for a Locksmith Scheduler / Customer Service Advisor for an initial 3 month period with the possibility of being made permanent.
We aim to move swiftly with this recruitment so ideally you will be immediately available.
What is on offer? As well as working in a supportive and friendly team, this package will include: An attractive starting salary of between £17,680 - £20,486 depending on experience A really fun and varied customer service role Two week rota system allowing a day off in the week and some time working from home Onsite parking The Role: We have a high volume of enquiries which have to be dealt with in a fast and efficient nature.
The calls are varied, but are primary a mix of general locksmith services, auto locksmiths services and access control services.
Duties Include: You will be primary responsible for liaising with key account customers and the allocation of appointments to both subcontracted locksmiths and employed locksmiths throughout the UK, ensuring that that all appointments are met at the time and date specified by our clients.
You will be responsible for the whole enquiry, from the initial enquiry through to the closing of the job and invoicing of the work.
You will also be actively involved in the recruiting of new subcontractor locksmiths and negotiating terms with existing.
You will need to enter new bookings onto our EPOS and Diary system, although initially there is a need to work in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
As with any reactive and call out company there is a need to ensure that cancellations and amendments are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
What you need to be successful: Communication skills are extremely important as a large part of the work is dealing with key account customers, new customers and locksmiths either by telephone, email or text.
Customer empathy and understanding of their situation\s is also important.
Excellent Keyboard Skills.
There is a requirement to use the keyboard as enormous part of the role; therefore keyboard skills are a must.
Good Knowledge of Excel.
Excel is used as a main tool for both bookings and reporting therefore a good understanding is essential.
Due to the nature of the work being reactive, there will be times in the position where you will be interrupted from what you are current dealing with, to deal with a more urgent request, this will involve dealing with these pressures and ensure all tasks are completed Organisational Skills.
Maintaining a strict diary, and daily process is important to ensure that all deadlines can be made.
Geographically knowledge of the UK is important Punctuality and reliability is paramount as working within a small team makes every member of staff important along with our customer’s requirements to ensure that they are provided with the best possible service.
Sales experience would be preferable Knowledge and vehicle Make and Models advantageous Hours hours per week, covering a two week rota Week one Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday 8am to ( hrs working day - 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minutes breaks) Week two Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am to ( hrs working day - 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minutes breaks) Wednesday & Saturday 5pm* to 9pm* (Working from home) Some Bank Holiday Working (Day in Lieu Given) and Holiday Cover for Weekends and late shift We do not accept applications from recruitment agencies.
