We are looking for a Business Development Executive to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential and existing customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales targets. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, this role would suit you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
* Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
* Qualify leads and identify sales opportunities
* Follow up and contact potential opportunities through cold calls, emails or LinkedIn
* Set up meetings or calls between prospective and existing clients
* Present our company to prospective and existing clients
* Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
* Customise product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
* Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
* Report progress to the Commercial Manager on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
* Stay up to date with new products/services and pricing
* Attend and help organise trade shows and exhibitions in which we exhibit at
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated within the organisation.
Requirements and skills
* 1+ years proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
* Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls, social media)
* Track record of achieving sales quotas
* Experience with CRM software
* Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts) as well as wider Microsoft Office applications
* Understanding of sales performance metrics
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
