The Role: The role is to sell across the company's full portfolio of print and digital media but to predominantly focus on driving growth on their events. Having grown revenue on a well-regarded media portfolio, the company have identified their network of associated beauty/cosmetic industry conferences and awards as a fantastic way to accelerate growth. The Account Manager will target both media agencies and lab scientists direct. The Account Manager will be tasked with bringing on new business and retain all account brought on themselves. It is a position that is based in central London but would involve travel for face to face meetings as well as to the events.

The Company: This business is one of the leading names in publishing and events in the UK beauty industry. Their publications, websites and events are read and attended by industry professionals right across the cosmetics market. The company have grown consistently over the last 3 years acquiring new brands to sit under the group, and now want to continue that growth in 2019. The close-knit group work as a team to create high quality content and want new hires who are committed, hardworking and willing to give their all.

As an Account Manager, your responsibilities will include

  • New business generation, and account management
  • Travelling out to meet clients in the beauty and cosmetics industry face to face
  • Achieving a revenue & profitability target.

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 4-5 years media sales experience
  • Ability to win and retain new business
  • Ability to work autonomously
