Warehouse Operative (Forklift Counterbalance)

Location: AshfordSalary:£27,040 – £29,120 (Permanent)Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute break)

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of England’s most prestigious and award-winning wine producers, known for their exceptional sparkling and still wine ranges. They are now seeking a Warehouse Operative with counterbalance forklift experience to join their friendly, high-performing team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a unique, fast-growing industry—supporting the production and distribution of premium wines made right here in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move pallets and stock
• Load and unload lorries safely and efficiently
• Pick and pack orders using paper order sheets
• Assist the production team when required
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment

Requirements

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence (in-house accepted)
• Ability to reliably travel to site in Ashford — car, bike, or living locally
• Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support wider production teams
