On behalf of our client, a pioneering engineering firm at the forefront of electronic innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Design Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative development team.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving analogue power systems, mixed-signal design, and embedded technology within a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop analogue circuits for power conversion and control systems.

* Perform simulations, in-depth analysis, and comprehensive testing of electronic designs.

* Troubleshoot and enhance electronic systems to maximise performance, reliability, and efficiency.

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory standards.

* Support the development of diverse electronic applications including communication devices, LED systems, and user interface controls.

* Create, review, and maintain technical documentation and design specifications.

* Prototype, test, and refine electronic designs using data-driven feedback.

* Produce schematics and layouts using 2D CAD and other design tools.

* Select suitable materials and components to meet technical and safety requirements.

* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in electronic design and innovation.

Essential Experience & Skills:

* Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field.

* A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in electronic product design.

* Strong background in analogue circuit design.

* Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).

* Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium Designer or similar).

Desirable Expertise:

* Familiarity with switched-mode power supply (SMPS) topologies.

* Exposure to digital and embedded system development.

* Working knowledge of EMC standards and safety regulations.

* Understanding of magnetic component design.

* High level of attention to detail and problem-solving acumen.

* Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
