We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join our team on a one-year contract to cover maternity leave starting in September 2025. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students and work in a supportive school environment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to enhance the educational environment for students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Year 4 Teacher or in a similar teaching role.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to professional development.
