Anderson Knight is recruiting an Administrator to join our client's team in Hillington. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created role within a well-established and growing company to support the smooth operation of their construction projects.

To deliver comprehensive administrative and operational support that ensures the effective and seamless operation of the business unit. This role includes managing office tasks, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and assisting various departments with their daily administrative requirements.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide broad administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document control.

• Maintain and organize project and site-related documentation to ensure accuracy and easy accessibility.

• Digitally file and categorise documents by type and relevance, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.

• Review and verify documents, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper classification.

• Compile and consolidate weekly updates and reports from site teams to support timely reporting and submissions.

• Assist HR and operations teams with a variety of administrative tasks.

• Help plan and coordinate company events, training sessions, and meetings.

• Track and follow up on meeting actions to ensure timely completion.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records and databases in compliance with company policies.

• Coordinate document flow across departments to enhance accessibility and operational efficiency.

• Provide support with vehicle tracking and logistics coordination as needed.

• Assist with managing security clearance processes and related documentation.

• Perform other administrative duties as required, including tasks assigned by the line manager.

• Gather and organize supplier and subcontractor information to support the creation of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or business support capacity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong organisational abilities with effective time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities efficiently.

• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience in a similar administrative role within construction.

• Working knowledge of office management systems, tools, and procedures.
