Adept Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing manufacturing business in Sheffield for a Laser CNC Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, and will be working a rotating pattern of early and late shifts, Monday to Friday.

Salary:

• £16.50 - £17.00 per hour

• Late shifts: Extra £1/hr on basic

Working Hours:

• 2-shift rotation (40 hours per week)

• 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Sheffield

Key Responsibilities:

• Check materials for size, thickness, and grade before cutting; report any quality concerns to the Team Leader

• Ensure components cut on the machine meet required quality standards

• Produce customer orders

• Complete job cards accurately, noting any special instructions

• Follow all machine and personal safety procedures

• Communicate relevant information to the next shift

• Box, bag, and palletise parts for dispatch

Requirements:

• Forklift truck licence for loading/unloading metal sheets

• Experienced using laser operated machines

• Strong understanding of quality procedures and customer specifications

• Ability to work effectively using own initiative
