Driver Hire Gatwick are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client in Crawley. You will be loading, unloading, packing, and delivering household and commercial removals, working closely with a small crew to ensure moves run smoothly and customers receive a professional service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly in line with road traffic laws
* Loading and unloading vehicles, including heavy furniture and fragile items
* Ensuring items are packed, protected, and secured correctly
* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers at all times
* Monday to Friday starting at 07:00 am (min 8 hours guaranteed)
About You
* Valid HGV Class 2 licence
* Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
* Previous removals experience is preferred, but you will be trained
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
* Good communication skills and a customer focused attitude
* Calm, practical, and able to problem solve on site
