PSR Solutions are working with a market leading contractor within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit an Estimator to Join their Pre-Construction team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Manchester.

Estimator Roles and Responsibilities

Preparing detailed, analytical estimates from first principles.
Reviewing tender documents, assessing scope, and take off accurate quantities.
Compiling comprehensive enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensuring bids are submitted professionally and in line with ITT instructions.
Collaborating with the Estimating team to deliver winning proposals.Estimator Requirements

Minimum HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating within civil engineering
Ideally experience working within infrastructure, wastewater, highways, FRC.
Proficiency in estimating software (Valesco, Causeway, Conquest, Candy).
Strong financial and commercial management skills.
Solid knowledge of CESMM, HWMM, SMM7 and NEC contracts.Estimator Benefits
