School Receptionist - Wakefield3 Days per Week (Wednesday - Friday) - 8:00am - 4:00pm

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a friendly, organised and professional School Receptionist to join a welcoming school in Wakefield. This is a part-time position working three days per week (Wednesday to Friday), 8:00am - 4:00pm, providing essential front-of-house support to the school.

As the first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and signing in visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls

• Providing general administrative support to the school office

• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and emails

• Supporting staff, students and parents with day-to-day enquiries

• Maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area

Requirements:

• Previous school administration experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

• Confidence using IT systems and handling telephone enquiries professionally

• A professional and welcoming approach when dealing with visitors, staff and students
