MEP Revit Technician - Building Services

Salary from - £45,000 - 48,000/ annum

Location - Central London

We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic, hard-working individual who is a quick learner and always willing to participate with numerous departments and design teams. You will have undertaken MEP projects from sectors that cover Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Mixed-use. You will be focused, and keen on seeking to combine professional experience and academic achievements.

This role will appeal to an BIM Revit Technician with working knowledge of MEP.

The Company
This is very eatablished multi-disciplined property and Building Services engineering consultancy with three UK regional offices and two in Europe. They work on outstanding projects of interest.

This BIM Revit Technician role is based in their really smart office in the City of London. They have an enviable client list which includes top Financial Institutions, Heritage and Industrial companies amongst others. Their priority is to mirror technology and Building Services and industry innovations, the implementation of BIM, using Revit MEP is seen as a high priority.

The Role

* Collaborating as part of a team to produce accurate 3D 'co-ordinated' MEP services models

* MEP installation drawings

* Working with the Project Manager and discipline engineers to define deliverables schedules, implementing these within the model for commercial scale projects.

* Supporting the Building Services project team with technical delivery using Revit and other BIM related software

* Modelling of a range of MEP services, including but not limited to mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment and drainage.

* Drawing production of modelled elements.

* Preparing final presentation drawing sheets with dimensions, tagging and crucial information ready to be issued.

You should have knowledge of importing architectural & structural Revit, IFC and CAD files to Revit.

Qualifications

You will be encouraged to attend design team meetings and BIM Co-ordination Workshops and have experience of the following:

* BIM/CAD Coordination for building services contractors and consultancies

* BIM on a daily basis

* Complying and dealing with CAD Standards

* Clash Detection

* AutoCAD

* Autodesk Revit Architecture 2015

* Revit

* Navisworks
