We are pleased to be partnering with a globally respected food and drinks manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer for a key role within their engineering team. The Role

Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving a range of production machinery within a fast-moving food and beverage environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting the continued delivery of safe, efficient, and high-performing operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Delivering planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across production machinery

* Conducting fault-finding, diagnostics, and effective resolution of engineering issues

* Supporting equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and regulatory standards

* Collaborating with production and technical teams to optimise performance and reliability

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a professional who brings technical skill, attention to detail, and a positive, solutions-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have:

* A recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)

* Experience within food, beverage, FMCG, or similar manufacturing environments

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities

* A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence

* The ability to work effectively within a structured shift pattern
