We're a specialist engineering firm based in Blackburn, known for delivering high-performance special purpose machinery for the high-speed manufacturing industry. We're after a Mechanical Design Engineer who values precision, thrives on practical challenge, and takes pride in designing machines that don't just meet expectations - they raise the bar.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Designing precision sheet metal components and mechanical assemblies

* Producing fabrication and assembly drawings using SolidWorks

* Working closely with build teams to turn concepts into fully functioning equipment

* Solving real engineering problems with creativity, logic, and attention to detail

* Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while staying on top of deadlines and quality

* Improving processes, materials, and outcomes with every project you tackle

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:

* Have solid experience in mechanical design and sheet metal fabrication

* Confidence and fluency in SolidWorks

* Understand the difference between a workable design and a buildable one

* Are organised, adaptable, and able to balance several design projects at once

* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
