My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to start work on a contract for the Local Authority

Working in a busy responsive repairs team - Managing a team of construction trades ensuring they are working safely, are supported and have the correct materials and equipment to complete there work.

The team leader will manage and monitor the operatives performance, progress and sickness.

This role will also be partially office based. You will respond to customer queries and complaints.

For this role you must have a trade background within construction with experience of leading a team.

Duties

Liaising with the clients, suppliers, head office and operatives / contractors.
Ensuring that no work commences on site until all Health & Safety documentation is in place.
Ensuring that the project is tidy and well presented throughout the construction process.
Providing leadership and support to operatives, sub-contractors and head office.
Expedite materials and information release from design team.
Supervising the quality of the works and hand over a snag free project.Requirements

SMSTS/SSSTS
CSCS
Scaffold Inspection
Asbestos Awareness
Manual Handling
Driving License
Previous supervisory experience in construction industry (N.H.B.C awareness).
Previous experience working as a Site Manager OR Team Leader and be able to provide references to validate this
