We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with experience in teaching/ TA to support students at our college in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously worked in a Teaching Assistant role and are passionate about helping learners overcome barriers to education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students in classrooms, workshops, and during breaks.
• Assisting with personal care and safe travel where required.
• Acting as a note taker and helping students understand and complete coursework.
• Liaising with tutors and maintaining accurate progress records.
• Matching students to suitable jobs or placements and negotiating with employers.
• Providing on-the-job coaching and support to both students and employers.
• Creating vocational profiles and action plans to guide career development.
• Promoting safe working practices and supporting educational trips

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience of working with or supporting young people with learning difficulties/disabilities
• Good standard of education including Math’s and English, preferably at minimum of GCSE Grade C/grade 4 or equivalent
