We are exclusively partnering a leading Financial Institution start-up formed by a group of the UK's top retail banks. This is a newly created role and an outstanding opportunity for a qualified, commercially astute Finance Manager to join a business leading the UK's financial access.

Reporting directly to the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with the Head of Finance, you'll be the link between complex financial data and the Executive Leadership Team, the Board, and external stakeholders - crafting compelling narratives that shape decision-making across the organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified finance professional who combines technical rigour with a strong storytelling ability and a passion for producing executive-level reporting that drives action.

They offer great flexibility being a predominantly work from home business looking for someone to visit their central London location 1 day per week with travel being paid for.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality board and executive reports with clear, insightful commentary
  • Translate financial data into meaningful and accessible narratives to inform strategic decisions
  • Produce regular management information (MI) dashboards and reports
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on performance trends, variances, and key business drivers
  • Utilise available tools to support faster, more value-add analysis
  • Work closely with senior Directors across Finance, Strategy, and Operations
  • Present findings confidently, clearly and with impact to non-financial audiences
  • Extract and manipulate data from core systems
  • Build and maintain financial models and reporting templates that support decision-making
  • Deliver outputs under pressure and within tight timeframes, maintaining a high level of accuracy

To be successful in this role - you will need:

  • CIMA / ACA Qualified with 2+ years of post-qualified experience
  • Strong experience in executive reporting and insightful financial commentary
  • Proven ability to simplify complex financial information and influence senior stakeholders
  • Skilled in data analysis and visualisation (Power BI or similar tools preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for automation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
