Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver small to medium traffic and parking schemes
Assist Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers with project delivery
Contribute to programmes including Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, bus and cycle improvements, greening schemes, School Streets, and parking improvements
Utilise AutoCAD for designing traffic engineering solutions
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Provide technical advice and support to the team
Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
Conduct site visits and assessments as required

Job Requirements:

Experience working in traffic engineering, particularly in a local authority setting
Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing traffic schemes
Strong understanding of traffic and parking schemes
Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Relevant engineering qualification
