Sales Executive

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive, on a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in Farnborough.

The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of existing and new customers for their car and LCV quote to order requirements.

Location: Farnborough

Pay rate: £13.95ph

Standard working hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5pm

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of new and existing customers
• Utilising relevant tools and business procedures to win new business.
• Responsible of ensuring that complex quotations for high value LCVs are compiled accurately and fit for customer purpose.
• Building strong external relationships with preferred dealer network and suppliers
• Responsible for the completion of complex public sector quotations
• Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and roll outs to the corporate and international customer portfolio.
• Manage all renewals in accordance with corporate and international customer car policies.

Candidate Specification

• Proven experience and knowledge within sales and customer service environment is essential.
• Previous experience within the automotive industry is desirable.
• Computer literate with sound knowledge of all Microsoft packages
• Ability to communicate at all levels both internal and external.
• Self-motivated but also able to work well within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to accurately handle and understand numerical data for quote to order process and reporting purposes.
