Salary: £25000 - £28000/annum door to door

Overall Job Purpose

Must have industrial door experience.
Typically work in two person teams - one usually more experienced.
We again pay door to door but typically either £11.48, £12.40 or £13.64 p/h depending on experience (they require less qualifications than our Service Engineers).
If within commuting distance to London, overnight stays are less of an issue, but if not, they would need to be willing to stay away from home worst case Mon-Fri.
* To deliver a high standard of mechanical installation and maintenance work for the
full range of company products.
* Carry out installation jobs within the timescale specified on the job instruction and at
all times in a speedy but thorough manner to the defined quality standard.
* Work Safely and adhere to Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Work at height, erect mobile towers and operate MEWP.
* Liaise and communicate well with colleagues and customers to ensure successful
fault finding and repair, planned maintenance or commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
* Receive accurate information from the Installation office and act in accordance with
information provided.
* Provide accurate information for the installation Supervisor in an agreed format
(site report sheet) relating to installation/repair jobs completed. Data to be sent or
faxed to head office on a daily basis.
* Liaise with the Installation Manager regarding any technical matters which require
knowledge outside their present scope. In the first instance however, the
installation instructions manual must be referred to.
* Liaise with the Installation Supervisor regarding the daily programme of work and
co-ordination of jobs.
* Liaise with clients and ensure that they are fully aware and satisfied with all work
carried out and of any additional work required.
* Completion in full of the standard site report sheet with particular importance
placed on receiving a client's signature.
* Accurate completion of weekly time sheets and van feedback sheets, returned to
head office for the Monday of each following week.
* Continually review training needs and advise the Installation Manager of areas for

site at all times wearing the Clark Door uniform.
* Adhere to any client site requirements for the use of safety equipment, however,
high visibility vests, overalls and protective footwear must always be worn.
* Work in accordance with the company's safety rules and procedures at all times.

* Liaise with the Installation Manager regarding materials or information
requirements for either proposed jobs or jobs in progress to ensure rapid
* Strive to achieve a friendly and professional working relationship with the key
contacts at the regular sites within the area.
* Maintain the stock and tools held within the Installation van in a clean, tidy and
secure manner.
* Advise the Installation Manager of the need to service the van at least 500 miles
prior to due mileage.
* Advise the client of any additional work required that would increase product
reliability and which will stimulate additional work
