RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for an Appearance System Design Engineer to support and join their expanding team

Position Description:
Rate: Negotiable (dependent upon experience) - Via Umbrella
Coordinate design progression activities between Engineering and Studio via the K Loop Process. Provide support to the studio feasibility process to ensure clear expectations are aligned and met between teams. Liaise between Engineering and Studio on key design attributes and assumptions. Clarify expectations and plan (the what, the when, the whom) to support progression. Engage attributes & manufacturing to drive concept development via master section reviews. Track and project manage the journey to master section sign off and completion. Lead Engineering discovery completion phase (post class A surface release) and issue resolution activities between various stake holders.
Skills Required:
* Good interpersonal skills, energetic, positive, and engaging.
* Proficient in conflict management.
* Be able to explain all technical elements & timing elements in simple terms
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of ICEM and Studio systems
Experience Required:
Extensive experience as a Studio Feasibility Engineer - (minimum two programs) working in a Design Engineering/ Studio environment
Experience working with Attributes, Manufacturing, Design and Engineering
Experience working within a Surface development process.
Education Required:
Degree or equivalent
Additional Information:
INSIDE IR35
Hybrid working - on site Tuesdays plus one other day, normally a Wednesday
