Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an Academic Mentor on a full-time temporary basis from January. (8:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday)
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students who have been impacted by the extended break in education this academic year and will support in class and on a 1:1 basis.
Responsibilities of the role:
- To provide high quality academic support to students across years 7 - 11 including students with Special Educational Needs.
- To support students in class as well as on a 1:1 basis.
- To inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve their potential.
- To support the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
To apply for this position, applicants must be educated to degree level and must have experience working within an educational setting and/or with young people. We welcome applications from those with experience in tutoring, youth work, sports coaching and mentoring.
