We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group as Handy Person on a permanent contract. You'll be based from our office in Wembley but cover schemes across London and Hertfordshire.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to join our hands-on team. Your role will be to carry out a variety of basic repairs and maintenance tasks at our clients' homes, helping to improve their living conditions and safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance such as fixing leaky taps, painting and decoration, mould washes and treatments, pest proofing. lock changes, bulb clearances and assembling furniture.
• Perform minor electrical, carpentry and plumbing works,
• Collaborate with the Supervisor, manager and other team members to ensure all tasks are carried out to specification.
• Liaise with clients to assess their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

What we need from you

• Practical skills and experience in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Relevant qualifications in a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work is desirable.
• Previous experience in a handyperson or maintenance role.
• A clean driving licence required, and use of own vehicle Is essential for D2D jobs.
