Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday - Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, house builder, housing developer

Salary: £240 - £250 Per day

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence

A prestigious house builder is seeking a Freelance Assistant Site Manager for a traditional high spec development in Derby. Temp to perm opportunities available for suitable candidates.

Job Duties:

Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
Monitor progress and quality of work on site
Manage site documentation and reports
Attend site meetings and liaise with project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
First Aid certification
Full UK Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

Relevant experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Working Conditions:

Work on construction site with exposure to various weather conditions
May require working weekends or evenings to meet project deadlines
Travel between different sites may be necessary
