Electrical Building Services Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Delivering electrical building services projects from feasibility through to construction and handover, with values ranging from £100k to £5M.
Managing the time, quality, and delivery of own electrical designs.
Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for tender and construction.
Working closely with other members of the M&E design team to deliver coordinated designs.
Liaising with clients, architects, and project teams on a day-to-day basis.
Coordinating with contractors and specialist suppliers to support practical and buildable designs.
Undertaking site visits, surveys of existing electrical installations, and monitoring works on site.
Assisting with the development of trainee and junior staff.
Attending site and design team meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience

HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
1+ years' experience in an electrical building services design role.
Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (or similar).
Knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant standards (HTMs desirable but not essential).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving license
