Job Title: Trade Counter Salesperson

Location: Cheshire
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + 10% Profit Share
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, alternating Saturday mornings
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We're recruiting a Trade Counter Salesperson for a respected Builders Merchant in Cheshire. This is a customer-facing sales role ideal for someone with previous sales experience who enjoys building strong relationships, providing excellent service, and working as part of a small, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve customers at the trade counter, offering product advice and upselling where appropriate.

Process orders efficiently, both in person and over the phone.

*

Build and maintain relationships with regular trade customers.

*

Support the team with stock control, displays, and general branch duties.

*

Ensure the trade counter is always well-presented and stocked.

Key Requirements:

Previous Sales Experience in a trade counter or similar customer-facing role.

*

Confident communicator with great people skills and a positive attitude.

*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

*

Proactive, hardworking, and a real team player.

*

Knowledge of building materials (preferred).
