Job Type: Temporary, FullTime

Our client is a utility company that has been servicing the Bakersfield area since 1961. They are looking to add an Accountant to their growing team on a temporary basis for between four and six months.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Cash Receipts

  • Journal Entries to the General Ledger

  • Data entry into their accounting systems

  • HR processes and codes

  • Payroll for 50+ employees

  • Financial reporting

  • Reviewing budget reports

  • Month end cycle

Job Qualifications:

  • 6 months of Accounting experience

  • Understanding of general accounting principals

  • 10-Key

  • Computer Literacy

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus

  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables / VLOOKUPS)
