An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor with the right skill set to join a successful £50m regional contractor.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in a variety of education and residential project between £2m - £10m.

Your first project would be as a site based Quantity Surveyor, supporting a Senior QS for a £25m 130 unit residential scheme starting in the Autumn, with a duration of 18 months.

Should you wish to be considered for this role, ideally your experience will include the following:
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a principal contractor
• New Build projects between £500k - £30m
• Stable employment history

Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Preparing & issuing enquiries
• Producing bill of quantities
• Producing pricing schedules
• Tender assessments & comparisons
• Effective in negotiations
• Procurement of site preliminaries
• Procuring subcontract packages
• Writing scope of works
• Placing subcontract orders
• Placing purchase orders
