Description

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring all journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations are accurately accounted for.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the accounting team and provide guidance where necessary.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes within the organisation.
  • Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Accounting Qualification-ACA/ACCA
  • Proven experience within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, and ERP scale systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
