About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our client on a temporary basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering high-quality HR support and advice to managers and teams across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice in line with legislation and policy.

* Support managers in addressing a wide range of people issues including:

* Attendance improvement

* Conflict resolution and grievance matters

* Capability and performance concerns

* Disciplinary issues

* Recruitment, retention and onboarding

* Organisational change, restructures, and redundancy

* Maintain professional casework, ensuring work is prioritised and delivered effectively.

* Advise and support management in preparing and presenting management cases at hearings.

* Log and monitor casework outcomes for continuous service improvement.

* Contribute to the development of HR and OD services by offering ideas and feedback.

* Provide guidance on multiple sets of terms and conditions of employment and pay scales.

* Attend multi-agency strategy meetings, particularly those relating to safeguarding concerns.

* Participate in job evaluation and grading appeals.

* Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Trade Unions, Schools, Strategic Business Partners, and Payroll teams.
