Finance Director (Contract) — Manufacturing

£600 per day

Role Overview

A Maidstone-based manufacturing business requires a Finance Director to lead financial control, cost optimisation and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full FP&A including product costing, variance analysis and inventory management. 
• Drive cost-challenge initiatives and partner with production and operations teams. 
• Oversee cashflow, CAPEX planning and working capital efficiency.
• Maintain statutory compliance and manage audit processes. 
• Improve cross-departmental communication and reporting clarity. 

Candidate Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong manufacturing/operational finance experience.
• Confident communicator, able to influence shop-floor and board-level alike.
