Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Bolton who require a learning support assistant to work across KS3 and KS4 classes.

This is a full-time position where you will work closely with students identified as having a need for additional support in school.

About the job role:

Provide additional support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Ensure that all students are engaged and participate in classroom lessons.
Assisting the classroom teacher to plan and deliver learning activities, prepare learning materials.
Work closely with SENCO to create short-term and long-term learning plans.
Build positive working relationships with students aged 11-16.
It is desirable that you have previous experience working within an education setting or working closely with students aged 11-16. This is a fantastic opportunity to build classroom experience if you are looking into a career in teaching.
