£17.07 per hour (after short probation)

Mon–Thurs, 7:00am–4:30pm

Looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced, clean aerospace environment? We’re after 4 skilled Airframe Fitters to join our client’s team.

Join a well-established engineering company with over 50 years’ experience supplying high-quality components to the UK aerospace sector.

What you'll be doing:

• Assembling metallic aerospace structures
• Working to SOPs and aerospace quality standards
• Using drawings and aerospace specs to guide work

Key tasks: drilling, countersinking, riveting, sealants, fitting helicoils, bearings, bushes, etc.

What we need from you:

• Solid experience in airframe/structural assembly
• Comfortable reading and understanding aerospace drawings/specs
• A real focus on safety and working to 5S standards
• Must pass a practical trade test at second interview
• Worked with solid rivets is key.
• Understanding of technical drawings.
• Airframe/structural fitter
• Expertise in drilling/CSK/riveting/colts
• Experience assembling different materials – (mostly aluminium)
